Miitopia Induced Haze

Guess which game I'd been preoccupied with over the past few weeks? (Of course, by the time I get around to drawing these things, I'm usually almost out of said haze, but why not?)

This was one game that I never would have considered if I didn't try out the demo for it on a whim and ended up really enjoying it. I wouldn't say Miitopia is for everyone by any means, but if you wanted a game where you could basically put any characters (OCs, fictional characters, real people) you want as not just your party members, but for all the NPCs, then you'd probably have a ton of fun with this. I've been posting tons of pictures from my playthrough on my Twitter account, if you're at all interested.

This was also the first RPG I've played that had a legitimate class system not counting Fire Emblem (mostly because I'd play Pokemon or Magical Starsign or whatever where classes didn't even exist), so that was a new experience. The two classes I really enjoyed playing as were Cleric and Princess. Cleric because hey, I loved the outfits and I figured it would be better for me to be in charge of healing instead of relying on the AI controlled allies. Princess was more of a surprise; I didn't initially consider it, but had to for the third area because the outfits looked the prettiest, and I found out just how game-breaking it practically was to dance-lock enemies turn after turn so my team wouldn't take much significant damage in the first place.

Anyway, here's hoping that I'll actually be able to publish the cover and first 3 pages of Intergalactic Fusion this weekend! There's been so much background detail I've had to paint for the first 20 pages alone (and of course, a full time job and all these fun games don't help, hahaha).
