Irony at its Finest

For a lot of this month, I'd been working hard on getting Book 1 of Intergalactic Fusion ready for print, but I've still got a bit of a ways to go. But since it felt disappointing not having anything to show for all my hard work, when I thought of this comic idea, I couldn't resist, hehe.

I remember reading a tumblr post a long while back where someone observed that when Alphys presented Mettaton to Asgore in order to become a Royal Scientist, literally all three of those characters were in the uncomfortable position of being forced to "fake it" in order to get what they wanted; or in Asgore's case, to save face. Unfortunately, I don't remember where that post ran off to, so I can't link to it here. (That being said, if anyone does remember it and/or has the link, be sure to let me know!)

And I guess while I was thinking it over, it just turned out to be perfect for one of these silly comics~. In general, I don't really like to dwell too much about the rest of Undertale (beyond Mettaton himself, anyway...) since there are so many people with so many different opinions and theories on the game that it's enough to make me want to ragequit. Probably why I don't come up with very many Undertale comics to begin with. Still, when I do think of something humorous like this, it's almost impossible for me to resist.
