Chapter 16: A New Sunrise <[link]>

Woohoo! Now you get to see what it's like to play Tarzan! Obviously, this is only possible in a fantasy world--if you tried this in real life, you'd either get stung by bees, crash into tree branches, and (most likely) wind up on your back with a major headache.

Chikorita's jealous! She wishes she could have the mad jungle-traversing skills that Grovyle has. Well, what do you expect, when they have the same best friend?

Tarzan (the Disney version) has been a major influence on my work in terms of story ever since I saw it. The family theme, the action, the music...everything is solid. Everything works. It may actually be one of my all-time favorite movies! It's too bad I can't paint jungle/forest scenes at the level of detail like the one in the movie, but...it's a start!

And I just realized that this is the only chapter in which the only characters are Amy, Chikorita, and Grovyle. No one else. That's actually pretty interesting.
