Enter the Icy Cavern.
Reach the altar in the center of the maze.
Optional: Fight off Devonshire and Chill to ensure they don’t reach their goal.
DO NOT show anything past successfully arriving at the altar (do NOT show the dragon revival); the story is to be determined by how well each guild has done so far and therefore will be shown in Mission 3 epilogue.

Page 7 of 30. Flashback scen—OH MY GOSH, what happened to Amy and Chikorita? This is actually how they came to Tao Village. It was a dark and cold winter night when they came staggering in and collapsed. Luckily, Chill and Mike rescued them.

That's also why they would get along with Chill and Mike the best, and they would've been Rescuers...except that they were just on a Rescue Mission or something that went horribly, horribly wrong, and caused them to end up like that. (This is part of the reason why they don't want to tell anyone how they came to Tao Village—it would be too heartbreaking.) They didn't want it to happen to them again, so they ended up choosing the safest option—the Merchants. Unfortunately for them, it looks like even Merchants have jobs that aren't safe from such dangers...

And yes, if I ever to a "Team Pecha's Origins" prologue comic, this would likely be the first page. As for this story, well, okay, it's probably the most serious page of all. I thought it would be fun to juxtapose Amy and Chikorita's seriousness with the absurd yet comedic events that are sure to happen in this mission.

This is also the very first comic page I ever drew that has absolutely no dialogue in it, as I thought dialogue would ruin the emotional impact of the whole sequence. How do you like it?
