Team Pecha's Arc 1 Summary

Team Pecha's Arc 1 and Arc 2 Applications:

I've decided to fill in this meme so I could get a better visual representation of how my style (and collab partners) had changed over the course of all the missions in the group. Team Pecha was also one of the lucky teams selected by Chuck and Kathy to participate in an interview. Since I have no idea when and what they'll be using the interview for, I've used snippets of the interview here, which were edited for conciseness. Enjoy! (Also note that my personal most favorite mission out of these five was Mission 4, which is why it's specially marked.)

Mission 1: (No title)

Amy: These were really nice missions for us to start off with. We had just moved to Tao Village and were still learning all about the place. It's really different from where we came from. For one, everyone here has nicknames! Then again, with all those Riolus, Eevees, and Zoruas running around, I can see why they do.

Chikorita: We had our choice between four--actually, seven--missions. Four task missions and three major escort missions. We wanted to take it slow and not jump into anything too major yet, so we decided to clean Master Foo's dojo walls and help Miss PK out with her item stand.

Amy: Haha, okay, I'll admit that the item stand deal was a bit...much. But we still got through the day and made enough money so that Miss PK didn't yell at us! Not too badly, anyway.

Event 1: (No title)
Collaborated with Team Elgyem, Team Nighty Knights, Team Latitude, The Epic One, Team Fireheart, Los Banditos, and Team Plum.

Chikorita: I'm glad we went! Mr. Hops taught us how to make awesome drinks, and we helped give some to people for the first time. Best of all, we even got to perform on stage! I just played my Grasswhistle, though. Amy mostly handled the singing.

Amy: Don’t worry. I know how to sing without making people fall asleep…in fact, no one’s actually fallen asleep whenever I sing recently.

Chikorita: Isn't that because Master Foo helped you replace it with Flamethrower?

Amy: Oh, right! Yeah, that's what happened. Anyway, we had just met Team Nighty Knights recently, and there, did you know what they did? Team Latitude, another team we recently met, shouted, “FOOD FIGHT!” and next thing you know, Ralts was flinging a TON of berries and Bisharp at those guys! It was messy.

Chikorita: Luckily for us, Ligray and Rigley—our Rescuer friends, Team Elgyem—used their Telekinesis to keep the food from going SPLAT in our faces. So we were good. Hee hee.

Mission 2: To Sapling Village! The Legendary Pokémon Merlot—A Fear Amy Can No Longer Run Away From?
Collaborated with Team Elgyem.

Amy: Mission 2…*shudder*…

Chikorita: Actually, Miss PK let us taste the cake AFTER we delivered it to her. But yeah, then Mr. Shroomsworth came along and was all, “Why do you keep doing side missions? You should try one that I’m doing!” And the next thing you know…

Amy: Yeah, it was a hard choice, but we eventually decided to go with Ligray and Rigley through the castle because we knew them better than Bisharp and Ralts. Also, they counted as aliens. Hee hee.

Chikorita: Really? You seemed to have such a hard time deciding that they had to decide for you…with their money!

Amy: Oh, well that was because we weren’t really SURE that they were aliens back then! They lost their memories and everything. Anyway, Mistress Merlot was SCARY! She still is! She tried to kill us and everything! Luckily, we worked well enough with Ligray and Rigley to take her down and save the eggs that Mr. Shroomsworth was delivering. It was an awesome party in Sapling Village.

Event 2: Enter Team Beheeyem (BEM)! Seriously? All This For a Bunch of Fireworks!?
Collaborated with Team Elgyem and Team Nighty Knights.

Amy: Ah…Master Zhu…uh…Who was he, again?

Chikorita: I think he was that fire guy who gave Bisharp the Evo Scroll that allowed him to evolve into a real Bisharp, right?

Amy: Oh, right! Yeah…he gave ones to us and Ligray and Rigley, too, but neither of us really needed them.

Chikorita: I was able to trade it in for this sweet two-colored scarf, though.

Amy: But…I don’t get that last question. What bag are you talking about?

Chikorita: Yeah, we just brought his fireworks back to him.

Amy: Oh yes, I remember THAT part. It was the first time all three of our teams were able to work together on the same thing. It would have been super-simple to get those fireworks back if it weren’t for a certain two Beheeyems. O-Bem and O-Beema, right?

Chikorita: Yeah. Don’t worry, those guys are locked up nice and tight on the moon now. …I’m serious! They’re stuck in a jail on the moon and everything!

Mission 3: The Pecha Berry Chariot-Sled Thingy! No, Seriously. It's All For the Peace of Tao Village...Right?

Amy: We were originally going to just deliver the trophy to the Rogue hideout. We even got Team AuraShock’s help and everything! They said they were Merchants, but as it turned out—

Chikorita: SSSH! Don’t blow their cover!

Amy: Ah, sorry! As I was saying, we delivered the trophy to…gah…Mr. Devonshire, ran home, and the next morning—wait, I already told you this. Moving on! When we heard that Miss PK wanted to get the weird rock to a place called Icy Cavern, I was worried that it would be as bad as the snowstorm we almost died in. So I suggested making a sled. But the only things around were wood and Pecha Berries, so thanks to Team Handy’s help, we made the Pecha Berry Chariot Sled-Thingy!

Chikorita: And we had to PULL it, too. Miss PK even used my Messenger Bag to hide the rock in, but Miss Coliche somehow knew it was there, anyway.

Amy: Oh yeah, Miss Coliche…man…she was just as scary as Mistress Merlot. Plus, those other two guys came along to help her. Seriously, we were lucky to get away from them, AND the ghosts. We had to run the whole way through the maze, blasting down the walls with my Flamethrower.

Chikorita: I’m just glad that we’re as far away from those ghosts as possible! I don’t want to have to deal with another of those things for a long long long long long long time!

Event 3: The Dark Snowstorm. The Day Everything Changed...Or Repeated Itself?
Collaborated with Team Elgyem and Team Nighty Knights.

Amy: Ah…yes. We technically “won”, but…

Chikorita: I really hated the cold. Amy, too, I’m sure.

Amy: Yeah…we both got sick instantly! Dr. Quaak said it was because we were RIGHT IN FRONT of Kyurem when he woke up.

Chikorita: Not just that…everyone in the village started to hate us. They even threw snowballs at us and everything! It...it was...*sniff*...

Amy: If it weren't for Kyurem's advice...I don't know how we would have gotten out of it all okay.

Mission 4: Empire of the Plant People Pokémon TRAPS.

Amy: Oh man, I have a TON of things to say about that mission! Miss Arianna was SCARY! Even with all my Flamethrowers, none of them could break through her thorns, and her whips were just plain—oops!

Chikorita: Wait, what? How many times DID she whip you? Sorry, Miss Kathy, I wasn’t allowed into the library since Miss Arianna had this thing called the Thistle Whistle that apparently controls Grass-types like me. They said I would’ve gone crazy and hurt Amy. So I don’t know what was going on in there with her all alone. All I know that we were trying to convince Miss Arianna to let us in the library for three days straight! THREE DAYS! And even Mr. Shroomsworth's official recommendation letter didn't do anything! And then when Miss Arianna came out, she made that GIANT THORN BARRIER sprout all around the village, and when Amy tried to talk to her, WHAM! She was hit by Miss Arianna's whips! Right then, Miss PK decided to come in on Barty (who AMY accidentally blew up three days before that, not me). I was really, really scared that she'd get mad at us and give us a really bad punishment, but she was way more mad at Miss Arianna than us, so I guess we got lucky.

Amy: Honestly, the sting from that whip hurt way too much for me to worry about what kind of punishment Miss PK would give us. Now, as for the mission, Miss PK, Team Gravity, the Smoothies, and Mr. Armstrong all helped out! But…okay, against Miss Arianna, I WAS alone. THEY were supposed to talk her into lowering the scary barrier, and I was just supposed to get the book, but…well…they fell into a big trap, and the basement’s security system, where I was, was an absolute nightmare. Honestly, I’m just glad Miss Louise talked some sense into her AND gave me the idea to make some Pecha Berry Juice for them to try. Otherwise, I don’t know if I would’ve made it out okay. Does that help, Chikorita?

Chikorita: Yeah…at least everything turned out okay. To top things off, Miss Arianna actually apologized to all of us! She’s even allowing us to check out whatever book we want from her library now! Best of all, she’s teaching me how to play my Grasswhistle even better. She’s awesome, way more awesome than when we first met her, and I’m so glad that Amy helped us become friends with her.

Amy: I’m just glad that I was able to fulfill my promise to her, even if Mr. Shroomsworth couldn’t actually find out much about Kyurem. The cold never reached Sapling Village at all. And I’m glad.

Event 4: The Twelve Days of Giving!
Collaborated with Team Elgyem, Team Nighty Knights, Team Star Ground, The Rejeckts, Team Wooden Grove, Team Starstruck, Team Handy, Team Darastrix, Team Gravity, Team AuraShock, and Team Risen Rage.

Amy: Oh, we got…too many to count, honestly! We had to resell some of them—oops! Shh, don’t tell them that.

Chikorita: It was OUR gift we were worried about, honestly! Miss PK had us up for a performance at the café on Sorbet’s birthday, and by the time we were almost up, we STILL hadn’t thought of anything!

Amy: Luckily, Kyurem gave us an idea to tell Mr. Hops to shoot Pecha Berry Juice in everyone’s glasses at the end of our performance! It was awesome.

Chikorita: I think Sorbet actually told us that gifts themselves weren’t important, it was the feelings that mattered. And THEN you saw Mr. Hops juggling out there, which gave YOU the idea to tell Sorbet to tell him.

Amy: Oh yeah…RIGHT…

Chikorita: Amy? Are you okay?

Mission 5: EXODUS.
Collaborated with Team Elgyem, Team Nighty Knights, Team Amber, Team HailFire, Team StarWing, Team Silent Sol, Team Nocturne, Team Fireheart, and The Hope Knights.

Amy: …That JERK!

Chikorita: I know, right? Sorbet just used HYPER VOICE on our house, blowing it up, and then started chasing us! Next thing you know, he CHOMPED on Amy, and when I tried to help, Mr. Devonshire was all, “Oh, let my Bisharp slave handle that, while you help me deal with the EVIL LAVA DEMON OF DOOM, even though you’re a Grass-type, ha ha!” Ugh. I was soooooo lucky that so many other teams helped do the major fighting for that one. I was able to help said teams get out of the way in time of the Heatran’s lava blasts, and in the end, I remembered I could use Grasswhistle to put him to sleep! So yay, problem solved. What happened on your end, Amy?

Amy: I kept using Flamethrower after Flamethrower down the guy’s throat, and finally, I was free. Bisharp caught me, Maple redirected Kyurem’s ice attacks, and we were introduced to everyone helping us. I wanted to go run through the tunnels with Chikorita, but NOOOOOO…that JERK had to keep blocking my way and trying to eat me! Oh, it was a tough battle the whole night through! (The good thing was that I finally got to use that Fling-Defense Curl-Rollout combo with Bisharp that I’d been practicing for a while.) Luckily, this crazy Ralts lady named Jasmine helped delve into Kyurem’s mind and guide him to the waterfall, where this Vaporeon named Miles was holding back the water. He released it, and it just froze when it hit Kyurem, trapping him there. But ugh…Kyurem…

Chikorita: Still, though, even with Ligray gone, at least the rest of our friends were also able to help out. I still wonder what she as doing up there with her mom and dad, through…did they really just sleep through the whole thing? Then again, I heard that Elgyems and Beheeyems are seriously deep sleepers, so I wouldn’t be too surprised.
