"Master Wigglytuff" has much more lilt to it than just "Guildmaster", in my opinion. This was the part of the story when I realized that one of the established characters (in this case, Master Wigglytuff) would react very differently upon seeing a certain Pokemon (in this case, a Jigglypuff as the heroine). So I ended up adding several lines not found in the original script in order to make the characters feel real. I had so much fun writing it! I believe that this was the point when Amy and Chikorita started to feel real enough to become characters that could stand on their own instead of substitutes for the hero and the partner.

I'm experimenting with several different styles of art in these pictures, in case you're wondering why the styles don't match my existing one. The line art style was inspired by the games themselves. I would notice on the DS screen that the characters had black lines on the outside, and colored lines on the inside, so I'm trying out that technique here in order to see how it would look.

This picture took a while to render! At the rate I'm going at, expect one new chapter every two or three days. This just happens to be one of the more detailed ones. I'm just illustrating the most charming scene from each chapter for these preview images. Enjoy!
