Crystal Scorpion

For ~Solandis-X's challenge thingy in which apparently we get to challenge each other to draw stuff we wouldn't normally draw. He suggested a crystal scorpion, while I suggested a romantic scene between any original characters of his.

I think the hardest part about a scorpion is its face; I mean, just what the heck is even there, anyway? Also, the crystal-like rendering. I'm not entirely sure if that's accurate as far as crystal is concerned, but it looked really cool, so I went with that rendering technique. Yay for original art at times!
